US nuclear secrets come out of Trump’s bathroom

Photos released: Trump hid nuclear secrets in his bathroom

Litigation related to former US President Donald Trump’s transfer of confidential documents containing state nuclear secrets to his Florida mansion remains high on the US agenda.

Accused of taking home classified documents as he left the White House after losing the presidential election, Trump was subpoenaed to testify in federal court on Tuesday. Around 100 confidential documents were said to have been seized during the raid on Trump’s home last August, including very important nuclear documents.

TRUMP: BLACK DAY FOR THE USA

According to the indictment released yesterday as part of the investigation, Trump hid “top-secret national security documents” prepared by intelligence and the Ministry of Defense at his home, instead of turning them over to the state. The charges brought against Trump in the indictment include obstruction of justice, withholding of classified documents, forfeiture of national security documents, concealment of federal investigation documents and false statements.

Making a statement on his own social media platform, Truth Social, Trump said: “I never would have thought this could happen to a former president of the United States. “This is a black day for the United States,” he said.

Meanwhile, in the published photos, it is highlighted that the confidential documents were stored in several rooms of the Trump mansion with dozens of boxes.

The documents were seen to be stacked on top of each other in different rooms of the house and even in the bathroom. A lawyer, whose words appear in the file, stated that some files came from different parts of the house, such as the bathroom, storage room, office and bedroom.

US law prohibits officials, including the president, from storing confidential documents in unapproved and insecure locations. Presidents of the United States are required by law to send all letters, official documents, and electronic correspondence they wrote during their tenure to the National Archives.
