Newly emerged images of Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, one of the names taking part in the swearing-in ceremony for Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was elected third-term president following the May 28 vote, became the event.

The new pictures of Şerif, who said that yesterday he brought mangoes to Erdogan’s couple and had a short conversation with President Erdogan and Emine Erdogan, became the subject of ridicule on social media. After having a conversation with Mango, the Pakistani prime minister is seen as Sharif tries to hug Erdogan but doesn’t get the reaction he expects from the president, then walks away with a wave.

Regarding this move by Erdogan, who was smiling when the Pakistani PM tried to hug him in the video, “Erdogan smiles strangely as the Pakistani PM tries to hug him tight again. “The sheriff has been the subject of ridicule on the Internet,” he said.

Some social media users used the phrases “Erdogan looks upset” and “He’s not our prime minister, he’s a clown.” One user said: “The sheriff doesn’t understand personal space nor can he smell the atmosphere around him. It’s a shame,” he said.
