According to official Jordanian state television news, the wedding ceremony was held at the Zahran Palace in the capital Amman.

King Abdullah II as well as Prince Hassan bin Talal and the father of the bride were present at the wedding as witnesses.

It was said that after the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom will go to Huseyniye Palace in the west of the capital, accompanied by the wedding convoy.

In a written statement from the Royal Court of Jordan, it was reported that King Abdullah II granted the title of princess to Saudi Arabia’s bride, Rajva Al Seyf.

The King and Queen are expected to hold a reception at Huseyniye Palace with the participation of heads of state, heirs and guests from different countries for approximately 1,700 people, followed by an organized official dinner.

King Abdullah II has 4 children, Prince Hussein (29), Prince Hashim (18), Princess Iman (27) and Princess Selma (23).

Prince Hussein bin Abdullah is the legitimate heir to the Jordanian throne, as established in the first paragraph of article 28 of the Constitution.
