Putin: They are trying to scare us
Russian President Vladimir Putin made harsh remarks about the drone strike in Moscow today.
In the morning hours, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) strikes were carried out in Moscow, the capital of Russia, and some of the buildings hit by the UAVs were damaged. The Russian military blamed Ukraine for the attack, while kyiv denied the accusation.
In his statement on the attacks, Putin claimed that the drones are targeting civilians, saying: “They are trying to provoke Russia. They want to scare us,” he said. Noting that air defense systems will be strengthened in Moscow, the Russian leader said that the military intelligence center in Ukraine was attacked.
WE REACH THE DECISION CENTERS IN UKRAINE
On the other hand, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that central decision-making points where terrorist attacks against Russia were planned were targeted with the guidance of Western intelligence organizations in Ukraine.
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said: “The shipment of equipment and weapons to Ukraine is increasing. “We monitor the volume and routes of these shipments, and we hit them when we spot them,” he said. Making a statement on the Russia-Ukraine War at his meeting with military officials, Shoigu said: “In the last month alone, the enemy has killed more than 16 thousand soldiers, 16 planes, 5 helicopters, 466 UAVs, more than 400 tanks and armored vehicles, and 238 howitzers and mortars lost,” he said.
