EARLY RELEASE FROM PRISON
Stating that the perpetrators of the incident were released from prison early with the youth laws and reduction of good behavior, Kamil Genç said, “They were sentenced to 10 years due to the youth law, while the previous one took 15 years. Drawing attention to the recent increase in racist attacks, especially in Western countries, Genç said that such racist attacks cannot be prevented as long as far-rightists are involved in politics and parliament, and they can better resist in unity and solidarity against these attacks.
Young said: “This incident happened to us, God forbid it happens to anyone. The more united we are, the better. The more crowded we see this place, the happier we are that our nation has our back,” he said.
Kamil Genç, who lost his mother Mevlüde Genç, in whose name the Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) of Germany prints a medal every year to reward successful partnerships, on October 30, 2022, said: “ We ask the municipality for the name of my mother to be given to a school here, we also suggest that it be given to the street or to the schools.
