US intimidates Russia with the world’s largest aircraft carrier
The American aircraft carrier arrived in Oslo, the capital of Norway, a NATO member.
In the statement made by the Norwegian Armed Forces, it was indicated that the US Navy aircraft carrier, USS Gerald Ford, was anchored in the Oslo Fjord. “It presented a unique opportunity to further develop cooperation and work more closely with our most important ally, the United States,” the statement said.
In the statement, all ships in the region were warned to stay 500 meters away from the aircraft carrier, noting that the area where the aircraft carrier operating with the nuclear reactor was located was declared a “no-fly zone.”
It has been learned that the world’s largest aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald Ford, will spend a week in Oslo and then take part in a joint exercise with NATO member Norway. The Russian embassy in Oslo, on the other hand, claimed that such shows of force were “irrational and harmful”. (AA)
