Government crisis in Greece… Andrulakis also rejected the charge

Andrulakis, who was invited to his office by Greek President Sakelaropulu to give him the task of forming a government, claimed that the poll result did not allow for the coalition, saying: “He gives me back the task of forming a government.” saying.

In the statement of the Presidency, it was indicated that Sakelaropulu invited all the leaders of the parties that have a caucus in parliament according to the results of the presidential elections tomorrow at 11:00 local time, in accordance with article 37 of the Constitution.

Kiryakos Mitsotakis, the leader of New Democracy, the leader of the elections, and Aleksis Tsipras, the leader of the Radical Left Alliance (SYRIZA), the second party, also resigned, claiming that the necessary conditions for a coalition were not met.

THE NEW DEMOCRACY ENDED THE ELECTION BY MARGIN

In the general elections held in Greece, according to unofficial results, New Democracy won more than 40 percent of the vote (146 seats), beating its closest rival SYRIZA by 20 points, but could not reach the 151 seats needed to reach to power on his own.

SYRIZA came in second with 71 seats with 20.07 percent of the vote.

The PASOK-KINAL alliance, which finished third in the electoral race, won 41 seats with 11.46 percent of the vote.

ACCORDING TO THE NEW ELECTION SYSTEM, YOU CAN GO TO THE PENSION FOR THE SECOND TIME

Under the electoral system implemented for the first time this year in Greece, if the poll results do not allow any party to come to power alone, negotiations for a coalition will take place.

If a coalition consensus cannot be reached, a second ballot box will be set up for voters.

In the second ballot, the first party will receive an additional 20 to 50 seats depending on the percentage of votes in the 300-seat parliament, as long as it receives at least 25 percent of the vote. (AA)
