The EU will make it easier for companies to access their information
The European Council announced that an agreement was reached between the member states and the European Parliament (EP) on the establishment of a “European Single Access Point” that will allow investors easy access to corporate information, therefore, in the field of capital markets trade union action plan, the European Single Access Point (ESAP) will be created.
This platform will facilitate the search and comparison of companies with sustainable and financially promising investment products.
In this way, European companies will become attractive to investors.
The new platform will be rolled out in phases starting in summer 2027.
Said regulation will enter into force after its publication in the Official Gazette of the EU, after the official approval of the EP and the member states. (AA)
