Russia: We defeated the Ukrainian sabotage group that entered our territory

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Ukrainian sabotage group, which entered the Belgorod region of their country, was defeated.

Ministry spokesman Konashenkov made statements in the capital Moscow about the entry of the Ukrainian sabotage group into the Belgorod region of Russia. Pointing out that the city of Bahmut (Artyomovsk) in the Donetsk region was captured by the Russian army, Konashenkov said: “After the Kiev regime was defeated in the city of Artyomovsk, it began to carry out terrorist acts against the population civil”.

Konashenkov claimed that the troops of the Ukrainian “nationalist formation” entered the territory of the Russian Federation and that an operation was carried out against them.

Konashenkov said: “During the anti-terrorist operation, air and artillery strikes, the actions of the state border protection units of the Western Military District and nationalist formations were prevented and defeated. The remnants of the nationalists were pushed into the territory of Ukraine and the offensive continued until they were completely destroyed. More than 70 Ukrainian terrorists, 4 armored vehicles and 5 vans were destroyed, ”he said.

Vyacheslav Gladkov, governor of Russia’s Belgorod region, reported that the Ukrainian army sabotage group entered the Russian borders yesterday and was conducting an operation against them. (AA)
