In Azerbaijan, the second round of voting has ended

The polls were closed after the voting process, which continued for 3 days at the Turkish Embassy in Baku and the Consulates General in Nakhchivan and Ganja, ended at 22:00 local time.

The ballot papers and the envelopes containing the cast votes were placed in ballot boxes and sealed under the supervision of the ballot board members and their observers.

Voting bags were also placed in diplomatic pouches and kept at the Embassy. The bags will be taken to Türkiye by diplomatic courier.

Turkish voters cast their ballots in a total of 15 ballot boxes, 9 in Baku, 3 in Ganja and 3 in Nakhchivan.

PARTICIPATION WAS 60 PERCENT

There are 11,043 registered voters in Azerbaijan, 7,417 at the Baku Embassy, ​​2,277 at the Ganja Consulate and 1,349 at the Nakhchivan Consulate.

Turkish voters in Azerbaijan had a 60.26 percent turnout in the first round of the elections.
