The sanctions, which include a travel ban, an asset freeze and a ban on obtaining funds and economic resources, apply to 216 Iranian individuals and 37 organizations with the latest additions. In addition, the sale of electronic devices that can be used against protesters and devices for monitoring telecommunications to Iran is also prohibited.
