Zelensky met with leaders at the G7 summit

Ukrainian President Zelenskiy, who arrived in Hiroshima at 3:30 p.m. local time, assessed his contacts on the sidelines of the G7 Leaders’ Summit in posts he shared on his social media account. Zelenskiy stated that he met British Prime Minister Sunak and thanked the British for their leadership of the “international war coalition.”

Noting that they discussed with Sunak the implementation of the agreements reached during his visit to England on May 14, Zelenskiy said that the development of bilateral relations was also discussed.

Explaining that he also met with Italian Prime Minister Meloni, Zelenskiy explained that they discussed Italy’s defense and political support for his country and the first results of his recent visit to Italy. Zelenskiy stated that he also discussed the need for the development of the two countries’ air defense capabilities, including flight training of pilots.

On the other hand, Zelensky and Indian Prime Minister Modi met for the first time since the start of the Ukraine-Russia War. Zelenskiy noted that he gave detailed information on the Ukrainian Peace Formula initiative and invited India to participate in the implementation of this initiative.

Noting that Ukraine needs a demining and mobile hospital, Zelenskiy said: “I would like to thank India for supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country, especially on the platforms of international organizations, and for providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine. “.
