Armed attack in the US: there are dead and injured

Farmington Police Chief Steve Hebbe said in a news release that a gunman randomly opened fire, killing 3 civilians and injuring 4 people.

Hebbe said the attacker was found dead in the incident, in which two police officers involved were injured.

The police indicated that the suspect walked the streets for a while with 3 firearms, one of them semi-automatic, and opened fire on everything that “houses, cars and people” crossed in front of him.

Farmington police did not provide information on the identity of the 18-year-old attacker, but announced that the investigation into the cause of the attack is continuing.

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham said in a statement that she was praying for the families of the victims and that gun violence “remembers once again how it destroys people across the country.” (AA)
