CHP objection to shorten voting time in two countries
CHP announced that it will oppose the decision to shorten the voting period for the second round in the US and Canada, where support for Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is strong.
The Supreme Election Board (YSK) announced that the vote will take place between May 20 and 24 at customs and abroad.
The Turkish embassies in Washington and Ottawa announced that the voting period in the second round of the presidential elections will be on May 20-21 and will last only 2 days.
CHP’s representative in the United States, Yurter Özcan, announced on Twitter that they would appeal the decision. Özcan said: “Today we will object to the YSK regarding the shortening of voting days in countries like the US, Canada and England, which received very high votes for our president.
