Ukraine: We Destroy Russia’s Hypersonic Missiles

The General Staff of Ukraine announced that all 6 Kinjal hypersonic missiles launched by Russia in kyiv were destroyed.

In the statement made on the General Staff’s social media account, it was claimed that Russia attacked Ukraine from the northern, southern and eastern directions with 18 missiles from the air, sea and land at around 03:30. The statement, which claims the Russians used 9 Kalibr cruise missiles, 6 Kinjal hypersonic missiles and 3 S-400 missiles in the strikes, said: “All 18 missiles were destroyed with the power and tools of the Ukrainian air force.”

In the statement, it was claimed that Shahed-136/131 unmanned aerial vehicles were also used in the attack by Russian forces.

Ukrainian Air Force Command spokesman Yuriy Ignat said in a speech on a local TV show that all the missiles were fired towards the capital Kiev. The head of the Kiev City Military Administration, Sergey Popko, stated that most of the Russian missiles were detected and destroyed in Kiev’s airspace, in his post on the administration’s social media account.

Stating that a building was damaged as a result of falling missile fragments in some districts of the city, and several cars were burned, Popko claimed that he was not injured. (AA)
