Zelensky meets Macron in Paris
French President Emmanuel Macron and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy met in Paris.
In a joint written statement made by the Elysee Palace on Macron and Zelenskiy’s meeting in Paris, which lasted about 3 hours, it was claimed that the two leaders condemned the war between Ukraine and Russia. Emphasizing that Russia must immediately and unconditionally withdraw its military forces from the territory of Ukraine, it was stated that France and Ukraine also called on Russia to withdraw from the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
The statement stressed that France is committed to Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
