The young Prime Minister of Finland, Sanna Marin, has decided to break up with her husband, Markus Raikkonen, with whom she has been together for 19 years.

Marin and Raikkonen, who met at the age of 18 and started dating, made this statement on Instagram. The couple said: “Today we filed for divorce together. We are grateful for the 19 years we spent together and for our loving daughter. We remain the closest of friends and loving parents.” While the couple wanted their privacy to be protected, they also announced that they would not be making any further statement on this matter.
