Victory Day barrier to the Russian ambassador in Poland

The Ukrainians prevented the Russian ambassador in Warsaw, Sergey Andreyev, from laying flowers at the monument to commemorate Soviet soldiers.

Wanting to lay flowers at a former Soviet monument in Warsaw, the Polish capital, Andreyev was greeted with anti-war slogans.

The flowers left by Andreyev were crushed by the Ukrainians. The “Euromaidan-Warsaw” group, consisting of Ukrainian and Polish activists, who blocked the ambassador, announced that they blocked the road with symbolic tombstones and hundreds of Ukrainian flags for Ukrainians killed by the Russians, and made fake pools of blood under the crosses. .

Russia celebrates the victory of the former Soviet Union against Nazi Germany in World War II on May 9 as Victory Day.

More than 2 million Ukrainians who left their country due to the Russia-Ukraine War reside in Poland. (AA)
