Biden’s statements confused the US press

Biden’s statement to reporters at the end of his briefing on the country’s economy and the debt ceiling before he would hold a “big press conference” was met with surprise.

As Joe Biden concluded at the conclusion of the meeting, “We’ve got a lot of work to do, and I’m going to have a big press conference this afternoon.” It was understood that the statements did not reflect the truth.

The White House claimed that Biden was referring to a previously scheduled interview.

Assessing Biden’s statement at the press conference for journalists as a “new faux pas” on his part, the US press expressed concern about the 80-year-old leader’s second presidential term.

THE TELEVISION INTERVIEW HE ATTENDED THE SAME DAY, IS ACCEPTED BY THE MEDIA

On the same day, US President Biden complained about the “negative” news in the media in an interview with US television MSNBC.

Biden said of Stephanie Ruhle: “Despite all these victories, the climate is not very good in this country.” In response to her comment, “For three years, all you’ve heard is negative news. Everything is negative. I don’t criticize the press, but you turn on the TV, if the only way to get hits is something negative, you know…”

The Democratic president said he had established an executive group in his cabinet, called the “Second Cabinet,” and that he was “in a position to put most of what he can do into the new business.”

After two incidents on the same day, the US media used critical language about the mental acuity of Joe Biden, who is the oldest president in the country’s history.

On the other hand, according to RealClearPolitics, which conducts public opinion polls on politics, for the first time since the withdrawal of the US military from Afghanistan in August 2021, the rate of supporters for the Biden presidency fell to 43 percent. (AA)
