Voted for the May 14 elections in Germany
Turkish voters in Germany cast their ballots in the cities of Aachen, Bremen, Regensburg and Kassel starting at 09:00 local time.
Voters will be able to vote until May 1 in Aachen, Bremen, Regensburg and until May 9 in Kassel.
Hannover Consul General Gül Özge Kaya, who came to Bremen to observe the electoral process, said: “Today is our third day in Hannover. In Bremen, it started again today at the fairgrounds. Voters are very interested. Our citizens showed great interest. The main objective of the preparations we made in the elections was to increase the participation rate in the elections. We have taken steps in this regard. Therefore, we are very satisfied with this situation.” he said.
On the other hand, the voting process, which began on April 27 in Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover, Düsseldorf, Münster, Cologne, Essen, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Mainz, Munich and Nuremberg, will continue until May 9 at 9:00 p.m.
There are 1.5 million Turkish voters in Germany, where around 3 million Turkish citizens live.
