Resigning PM finds job at Harvard
Former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who announced her resignation in a surprise decision in January in New Zealand, will start working at Harvard University.
Kennedy School dean Douglas Elmendorf announced that Ardern will take up a temporary position at Harvard University later this year. Elmendorf said that Ardern, who became prime minister at the age of 37, gave a strong and empathetic lesson in leadership to the world, and that he would make a great contribution to Harvard students with his knowledge.
Having been accepted into the dual fellowship program, Ardern will work under the Angelopoulos Global Leaders 2023 program and the Center for Public Leadership.
Ardern also stated that working at Harvard University will give her the opportunity to share what she knows with others and continue to learn.
