British minister accused of mistreating his employees resigns
British Justice Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab, accused of “bullying at work”, has resigned.
The independent investigation, which has been ongoing for five months, received numerous allegations that Raab had behaved negatively towards people he worked with while he was foreign and justice minister.
Raab, who has tendered his resignation to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, said he had decided to resign due to two intimidation findings in the investigation. Raab argued that he had not thrown objects or yelled at his employees as he had alleged up to now.
Noting that he did not cross professional boundaries, Raab said: “I really apologize if the authorities experienced stress or difficulties.”
British Prime Minister Sunak has previously said he does not believe the allegations about his aide.
