‘IT WILL TAKE AT LEAST 10 YEARS TO CLEAN UP’
“As spring arrives and more people begin to engage in agricultural activities, the risk of mine-related civilian deaths will increase,” the report says. More than 750 mine-related civilian casualties have been reported since the start of the invasion, with one child in every eight victims. It will probably take at least 10 years to clear Ukraine of mines. (DHA)
