Horrible Incident: Vacationer Died Because Snorkel Covered His Entire Face
A woman named Angela Kearn, 63, who went to Egypt on holiday from England, died horribly.
Kearn, who wears a one-piece full-face snorkel, which is also sold in Turkey and widely used, died while diving in the Red Sea. The woman suffering from puncture pulmonary edema died at sea. While a one-piece breathing tube was shown to cause condensation of fluids in the lungs, the autopsy revealed that the woman was taking hormone therapy drugs for menopausal symptoms.
It was claimed that the full-face mask also triggered this ailment. The authorities pointed out that there are no possible risks in the snorkels sold and that those who use the product should be careful.
