Secret documents: Serbia supplies arms to Ukraine Related articles

Serbia, the only country in Europe refusing to impose sanctions on Russia for its invasion of Ukraine, has agreed to supply arms to Kiev, according to a classified Pentagon document. It is possible that Serbia has already supplied the weapons, writes the Reuters news agency.

The document, a summary of European governments’ responses to Ukrainian requests for military training and “lethal aid” or weapons, was one of dozens of classified documents released online in recent weeks.

The document, entitled ‘Europe | Response to Ongoing Russia-Ukraine Conflict’, provides an overview of the ‘evaluated positions’ of 38 European governments in response to Ukrainian requests for military assistance.

Serbia refuses training

The graph shows that Serbia refuses to provide training to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but has agreed to send arms or has already handed them over. He also said that Serbia has the political will and military capability to supply Ukraine with weapons in the future. Serbia is known for wanting to exude “neutrality” when it comes to the war in Ukraine.

The document has been stamped “secret” and is dated March 2 of this year. In addition, there is a “NOFORN” label on the document, which means that the information cannot be shared with foreign intelligence services and militaries.

Reuters was unable to verify the documents, other documents within the leak were later found to be genuine. The news agency also tried to contact the Pentagon and Serbia for comment, but received no response.
