The incredible incident occurred on Geary Street in San Francisco, just off Union Square in the Tenderloin neighborhood, which has become a hangout for the city’s drug-addicted homeless, the Daily Mail reported.
The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed Thursday that a woman had given birth to a child “in public.”In the video posted online, the woman is seen lying on her side, pulling down her pants and trying to hold her newborn baby.
As passersby tried to help him hBoth mother and baby were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
Officials with the San Francisco Fire Department said that “births in public view are rare, but do occur occasionally.”
