Passenger attacks cabin crew, plane returns to airport
The Indian airline Air India flight to London was forced to return to New Delhi shortly after takeoff due to “aggressive behavior” by a passenger.
In a company statement, it was reported today that “a passenger who ignored verbal and written warnings exhibited aggressive behaviour” during Air India’s AI 111 flight between New Delhi and London, injuring two cabin crew.
It is claimed that the pilot in command decided to return to New Delhi shortly after takeoff and the passenger was handed over to security personnel upon landing.
“We are providing all possible support to the affected cabin crew. “We apologize for the inconvenience caused to passengers and have rescheduled the London flight for the afternoon.” (AA)
