Ukraine: Russia uses tactics in Syria
The commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Aleksandr Sirskiy, reported that in the direction of Bahmut, Russia switched to “the so-called destruction tactic in Syria.”
According to the statement of the Land Forces Command, Sirskiy visited Bahmut, one of the hot spots of the war, and received information from the commanders of the units about the defense process and current problems that require urgent solutions. Sirskiy, who made decisions on solving problems on the front line and set goals, rewarded the soldiers fighting in the direction of Bahmut with medals and state gifts.
In his statement here, Sirskiy claimed that the actions of the Ukrainian soldiers weakened the Russian security company Wagner and therefore this company had to include special forces and air strike units in the war in Bahmut. Noting that the clashes in Bahmut were fierce for both sides, Sirskiy said: “The enemy has switched to the so-called destruction tactic in Syria. “It is destroying buildings and positions with airstrikes and artillery fire,” he said.
Noting that they continue to defend Bahmut, Sırskiy stated that the situation is difficult but manageable.
