Noting that 388 irregular migration attempts were prevented in operations organized by the security units of the Naval Forces in the Sfax and Mahdiye regions during the same period, Cebabli said that 13,259 irregular migrants were caught, 12,804 from countries in the Sub-Saharan Africa and 455 Tunisians, during these operations.

Cebabli reported that 63 people belonging to the organized crime organization dedicated to human trafficking were captured in the operations and that 135 maritime vehicles and 12 vehicles used in human trafficking were seized.
