The doctors ruled on Berlusconi’s health

The doctors of the 86-year-old leader, who was transferred to the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan after a week off due to health problems, were examined by his doctors, Prof. Alberto Zangrillo and Prof. Fabio Ciceri made a written statement .

“President Berlusconi has been transferred to intensive care for treatment of a lung infection,” the doctors said in a statement. He had been diagnosed with chronic myelomonocytic leukemia for a time. The infectious state also depends on it. No progression to acute leukemia. The treatment strategy is to cure the lung infection with cytoreductive therapy.” statements were included.

It was stated that the aim of the treatment in question was to limit the negative effects of the existing disease and to correct the pre-existing clinical condition.

WHAT HAPPENED?

In Italian press news, it was claimed that the famous leader was diagnosed with leukemia and began chemotherapy.

Antonio Tajani, coordinator of Berlusconi’s FI party, also deputy prime minister and foreign minister, said Berlusconi’s malaise in the morning was normal for people of that age and there was no need to panic.

Tajani said Berlusconi had a good night, his condition was stable and he spoke to party leaders by phone in the morning.

Berlusconi was transferred to the San Raffaele Hospital for control purposes on March 27 and was released after spending three days in the hospital.

Berlusconi, who was Italy’s longest-serving prime minister between 1994 and 2011, contracted Covid-19 in September 2020 and was able to recover after a troublesome two-week treatment period. Berlusconi, leaving the hospital, “This time I managed to get over it.” he said. (AA)
