NATO foreign ministers meet in Brussels
Foreign ministers from NATO countries met to discuss issues such as continued support for Ukraine, which is fighting with Russia, the situation in the Asia-Pacific and defense spending.
Sweden is also participating in the second day of the NATO Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held at NATO headquarters in Brussels as a guest country. Speaking at the opening of the North Atlantic Council meeting, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that Russia is preparing for more wars and Ukraine must be given everything it needs on the battlefield.
Stoltenberg also said that NATO will continue to support its other partners Moldova, Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina against Russian pressure.
NATO foreign ministers will also meet with the foreign ministers of Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea today to discuss the situation in Asia-Pacific. (AA)
