The explosion occurred shortly after the young woman handed over the statue.

Trepova, who studies art in Russia and has criticized Russian President Putin in the past, said she was set up. “They tricked me, they used me,” Trepova said. “They tricked me into taking the statue,” she said.

It was revealed that the young woman tried to escape with her suitcase after the attack.

When asked who gave her the statue during her questioning, Trepova said she would make a statement about it later. It was previously announced that there were 100 grams of dynamite inside the statue.

Trepova, who came to the cafe with the statue, was first blocked by security guards, but then Tatarsky remembered the young woman from previous events and took the statue.
