Trump Activity in the US: New Concerns Over ‘Congressional Raid’

Former US President Donald Trump will appear in court in New York tomorrow on charges of paying a “shake-up” after having an affair with an adult film star.

The New York court has ruled that Trump must appear in court accused of paying $130,000 in “hush” to adult film star Stormy Daniels, who allegedly had extramarital sex. Trump, who will be the first former president to appear in court for an indictment in US history, calls the indictment against him “political” and argues that it is “electoral interference.”

The news that Trump, who is also a candidate in the 2024 presidential election, will appear in court, caused a great deal of activity in New York. Police brace for protests by Trump supporters and opponents as security measures ramp up in the city.

TRUMP OPENS IN POLL

As the debate over the case continues, according to a recent poll, Trump has clearly outperformed his rivals in the race for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination.

According to a Yahoo News-YouGov poll, Trump is 31 points ahead of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is seen as his strongest opponent. According to the poll, support for Trump was 52 percent, while DeSantis stood at 21 percent.

Nikki Haley, who announced her candidacy, received 5 percent and former Vice President Mike Pence received 3 percent.
