Terrifying Satellite Images: Nuclear Activity in North Korea
Recently released satellite images revealed that North Korea is rapidly ramping up activities at its nuclear facility.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un last week called for increased production of nuclear materials suitable for making nuclear weapons, which will strengthen his country’s power.
The latest images from North Korea, which has conducted dozens of missile tests in the past year and caused concern by repeatedly launching ballistic missiles, raised fears.

North Korean media published footage last week of Kim examining nuclear warheads.
The company 38 North, based in Washington, announced that the satellite images it published belong to March 3 and 17. According to the footage, a reactor at the nuclear facility in North Korea’s Yongbyon region was claimed to have come to an end under construction and will soon be operational.
In the images it was noted that the water level in the water reactor gradually increased and construction work continued around an operational uranium enrichment reactor. In the report published with the images, it is stated that there was great activity in the country’s main nuclear complex after Kim’s instruction to increase the production of nuclear material.
missiles rained down
South Korea and the United States have long warned that North Korea could carry out a major nuclear test.
North Korea, which reacted strongly to the joint South Korean-US military exercise that began on March 14, announced it would further increase its missile tests. It was reported that North Korea also conducted a ballistic missile test on March 19.
Despite international sanctions, North Korea launched more than 90 ICBMs last year, marking the highest number of missiles fired in a year. Pyongyang has conducted more than 20 missile tests since the beginning of this year. (AGENCIES)
