North Korea Nuclear Weapons
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has called for more production of nuclear materials suitable for making nuclear weapons, which will strengthen his country’s power.
According to Yonhap, North Korea’s official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), which received a report from the Nuclear Weapons Institute on the country’s nuclear power, made assessments on the expansion of nuclear capacity.
Demanding “perfect” preparations for the use of nuclear weapons “at any time and anywhere,” Kim said: “We must never be satisfied with the efforts of our nuclear power to consolidate its comprehensive response position and continue to constantly strengthen the energy nuclear”.
Kim called for increasing the production of nuclear material suitable for the manufacture of nuclear weapons, in line with the goal of exponentially increasing the country’s nuclear power.
State media also published the first photos of Kim inspecting weapons that resemble a tactical nuclear warhead called “Hwasan-31.”
