Attack on school in the US: 6 dead
A shooting occurred at The Covenant, a private Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee.
The attacker, who entered the school, where there are about 200 students between kindergarten and sixth grade, in the morning hours, killed 6 people, including 3 children and 3 school employees. Many people were reported to have been taken to the hospital in the incident.
ATTACKER KILLED ON SITE
The Metro Nashville Police Department, in its first statement on its Twitter account, reported that the attacker, who was carrying 2 long-barreled weapons and a pistol, died at the scene.
While the attacker’s identity was not released, no information was shared about why he carried out the armed attack.

In the White House statement, it was noted that President Joe Biden was briefed on the attack in Nashville.
Investigations into the attack continue.
