Police investigation threatening protesters

According to French press reports, the Paris Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation into the incident in which anti-reform protesters were threatened and insulted by the police, for “violence perpetrated by persons with public authority” and “threats.” .

The investigation will be carried out by the Investigative Unit of the National Police (IGPN), known in France as the “police of policemen”.

There were unauthorized demonstrations against the pension reform in Paris on March 20.

Loopsider, which broadcasts online, published the audio recordings of the incident in which a group of French policemen insulted, threatened and slapped 7 protesters during one of the demonstrations on Monday night.

In the audio recordings, a policeman is heard threatening to “hospitalize” the protester and another policeman to deport a Chadian protester from France. (AA)
