Nuclear deal talks between Iran and European countries
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister and Chief Negotiator Ali Bakiri announced that he met in Oslo, the Norwegian capital, with high-level diplomats from the European parties to the nuclear deal, known as E3, Britain, France and Germany.
In his message shared on his Twitter account, Bakıri said: “We had a meeting in Oslo with the political directors of the E3 countries. “We have extensively discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and concern,” he said.
Stating that Iran will not miss any opportunity to “clarify its views and warn against some miscalculations,” Bakiri said: “We are determined to advance our national interests, including through diplomacy.” Bakiri did not specify whether the meeting was about the nuclear talks, which were suspended in September last year due to unresolved disagreements between Iran and the United States.
