Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and the Rhône Governorate claimed that 36 people were arrested at yesterday’s demonstration in Lyon, in the actions they shared on their Twitter account.
The governor’s office banned a demonstration from being held in the city center between 12:00 and 20:00 today, citing the destruction caused in yesterday’s demonstration.
According to news from the French channel BFMTV based on security sources, 61 protesters were arrested yesterday in Paris.
THE BAN DECISION HAS ARRIVED
New demonstrations were prohibited in the Place de la Concorde and in the surroundings of the Champs Elysées, near the parliament building in Paris, considering that it represents a risk to public order and security.
On the other hand, on social networks there are calls to hold demonstrations every night in the Place de la Concorde in Paris until the fall of the French government.
French Prime Minister Borne announced on March 16 that he had implemented the third paragraph of article 49 of the Constitution, which allows a bill to be passed by parliament without a vote, for the bill on the reform of pensions.
ARTICLE 49 OF THE CONSTITUTION, § 3
Paragraph 3 of Article 49 of the Constitution authorizes the government to approve the bill without a vote in the National Assembly and allows the opposition to file a motion of no confidence against it.
If the motion of no confidence receives the support of the majority of the deputies of the Assembly, the government falls.
If the proposal is not supported by a majority in the Assembly, the bill is considered approved without a vote in the Assembly and goes to the Senate. (AA)
