Interesting departure from Trump: I will be arrested on Tuesday
Former US President Donald Trump has urged his supporters to take to the streets, arguing that he will likely be arrested on Tuesday.
In a message shared on his own social media platform, Truth Social, Trump said he expects to be arrested Tuesday, according to leaked Manhattan court information. Trump, who did not elaborate on the accusation against him, told his supporters: “Protest, take back our nation!” he made the call.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office had no comment on the matter.
In Manhattan, a lawsuit was previously filed against former Trump attorney Michael Cohen. Cohen allegedly voiced adult film actress Stormy Daniels, who claimed that she was having an affair with Trump.
Trump, who is expected to run for re-election in the 2024 presidential election, has previously denied these allegations.
