Biden: The GOP is in a major transition period

Speaking to the Daily Show, Biden referred to the climate crisis and the policies of the Republican Party.

Recalling that he is running for president in the 2020 elections to restore the spirit of the nation, strengthen the middle class and unite the country, Biden noted that since taking office they have done many things that are considered “disposable” as law. infrastructure, environmental regulations and approval of same-sex marriage.

Biden stressed the importance he places on the younger generation, stating that they are also involved in many bipartisan-approved legislative activities. Biden also referred to the work he has done in the context of the climate crisis to save the future of youth, noting that if action is not taken in this regard, there may be bad consequences for future generations.

Emphasizing that the climate crisis is “a real problem,” Biden also noted that they will need fossil fuels for at least 10 more years.

Biden also said that the energy issue has become more complicated due to the war between Russia and Ukraine. Biden claimed that up to a third of Republicans in Congress are especially those who support former President Donald Trump and describe themselves as “MAGA Republicans,” referring to the first few letters of the slogan “Make America Great Again.”

On the other hand, Biden said some Republicans agree with him, but they will be attacked within the party if they go public, adding that the GOP is in “a major transition period.”
