7 different international conventions were accepted in the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey
Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs convened under the chairmanship of AKP Istanbul MP Akif Çağatay Kılıç. In the commission; 7 proposals for the approval of international agreements were accepted.
Deputy Foreign Minister Yasin Ekrem Serim briefed the commission on the Draft Law Approving the Agreement on the Establishment and Operation of Cultural Centers between Turkey and the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. Serim said: “We were planning to open a cultural center in Kyrgyzstan. The center we will establish will effectively serve to teach Turkish and explain our common historical and cultural ties with our Kyrgyz brothers.”
Noting that the entry into force of this agreement is important to ensure that core activities can be carried out smoothly, Vice Minister Serim said, “We attach importance to the ratification of the agreement in the context of the fight against FETO.”
In addition, the Commission; Proposal for Approval of the Protocol amending the Title of the European Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), of September 30, 1957 Proposal for Approval of the Air Services Agreement, Proposal for Approval of the Services Agreement Air Transport Agreement between Turkey and the Republic of Guinea, Proposed Law Approving the Air Transport Agreement between Turkey and the Republic of Namibia, Approval of the Air Services Agreement between Turkey and the Republic of Maldives The proposed Laws on Existence were accepted after discussion.
