After the wave of “influenza A” in the country in November-December, the wave of “influenza B” began in February.

In its report on flu wave B, the Instituto de Salud Carlos III drew attention to the singularity of the fact that flu cases, which are normally expected to decrease towards spring, are now common and that two flu waves occur in one same fall -winter period.

According to the data, it was shared that between February 20 and 26 there were 258 cases of flu for every 100,000 people, and this figure was 270 in mid-February.

This makes us more prone to all kinds of respiratory diseases. This second wave quickly intensified as life returned to its previous state.

It was stated that the influenza B wave is seen especially in children under 15 years of age.
