The little murderer Pedro was murdered in front of his house

Filho, 68, considered one of the country’s most notorious serial killers, was killed yesterday, the Metropoles newspaper reported.

Two gunmen fired repeatedly at Filho, known in Portuguese as “Pedrinho Matador” or “Little Killer Pedro”, outside his home in Mogi das Cruzes, Sao Paulo state.

Filho, who was first arrested in 1973 and released from prison in 2007, was later sentenced to two more prison terms. Filho was found guilty of 71 murders and was released in 2017 after serving a total of 42 years in prison.

Although Filho claimed to have killed more than 100 people in his life, including his own father, he published an autobiography entitled “I am not a monster”.

Continuing with the investigation, authorities suspect that Filho’s murder may be a revenge killing. (AA)
