Another ship stranded in the Suez Canal, limited consequences Related articles

According to the Reuters news agency, it is the MSC Istanbul ship, en route from Malaysia to Portugal, sailing under the Liberian flag. Four tugboats are trying to bring the colossus afloat, according to a spokesman, the rest of the maritime traffic will not be affected.

Never given

It’s not the first time a ship has been stranded in the Suez Canal. Two years ago, the ship Ever Green ran aground. After six days she was able to sail, the costs of the delay running into many hundreds of millions of dollars.
