Reaction of “Constantinople” to the Greek Foreign Minister Dendias

Greek Foreign Minister Dendias, in his first message yesterday about his visit to Istanbul, stated that he will visit “Constantinople” and attend the religious ceremony held at the Greek Fener Patriarchate and meet with the Greek Fener Patriarch Bartholomew.

Underneath this post, there were many reactions to the use of Constantinople and comments made that the name Istanbul should be used.

In Dendias’s second post, he was seen to use the word “Istanbul”, stating that he would attend the ceremony held for those who lost their lives in Turkey and Syria in the train accident in Greece and the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş in February. 6th.
