The main topic of the Biden-Scholz meeting was the Russia-Ukraine War.

In a written statement from the White House, German Chancellor Scholz, who paid an official visit to the capital Washington with Biden, was reported to have discussed the Russia-Ukraine War and global issues.

In the statement, it was said that the leaders, who met to confirm strong US-German relations, discussed ongoing efforts to provide security, humanitarian, economic and political support to Ukraine on the anniversary of the invasion of Russia to Ukraine.

During the meeting, it was noted that the importance of maintaining global solidarity with the Ukrainian people was also on the agenda.
