In the statement issued by the IAEA, it was reported that the first emergency aid package was sent to Turkey due to the devastating earthquake.

In the statement, it was stated that portable and mobile X-ray equipment was included in the emergency first aid kit, and it was indicated that the medical equipment in question would be used instead of the equipment damaged in the earthquake.
The statement said that the agency’s support to Turkey and Syria, which were affected by the earthquakes, will continue and that various technical equipment, as well as X-ray machines, will be sent to the region in the coming weeks.
