The Vox leader demanded that the motion of no confidence be voted on on April 4.
Vox, which is the third largest party with 52 deputies in parliament, made a similar attempt in October 2020, but it failed.
EXPECTED TO FAIL
The latest attempt by Vox, which has not had the support of any political party in parliament, is expected to fail.
Alberto Núñez Feijoo, leader of the main opposition Popular Party (PP), accused Vox of “turning the assembly into a circus by putting on a show.”
The local elections will be held in the assemblies of 12 autonomous governments and of the entire country on May 28 in Spain.
