Biden makes F-16 decision for Ukraine
In an interview with ABC News, Biden was asked about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s request for an F-16 fighter jet.
Biden stated that experienced military officers in the US provided the help they believed Ukraine needed, adding: “They need war equipment like tanks, artillery and air defense right now.” saying.
“NOT NEEDED NOW”
Stating that they are providing the help they need to Ukraine for now, Biden said: “We are sending materials that will put them in a good position through this spring, summer and fall. They don’t need the F-16 right now.” he said.
“We know exactly what it will take in the next few years,” Biden said. According to our military officials, there is currently no logical justification for the F-16. That’s why I’m leaving it out of the option right now.” He used the phrase.
Responding to the question about “China’s supply of lethal weapons to Russia for the war in Ukraine,” Biden said he did not anticipate this, but would respond to China with “tough sanctions” in the event of such a supply. (AA)
